Sleepy Hollow Cemetery

Explore the rich history and haunting beauty of Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, a must-visit for those fascinated by the past and the supernatural. This historic cemetery, open daily, offers a unique glimpse into the lives of some of America’s most notable figures. The daytime tour offers a two-hour guided walk through the grounds of the 175-year-old site, where you’ll hear intriguing stories about notable residents such as Washington Irving, Chicago Mayor Walter Gurnee, steel magnate Andrew Carnegie, and oil tycoon William Rockefeller. Tours are held on Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. through September, with October and November dates announced in early September.

The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze: Hudson Valley

The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze is an immersive pumpkin trail on the grounds of an 18th-century estate. Stop here if you want to check out thousands of hand-carved jack-o’lanterns, all brought to you by our team of local artists. This year’s event will feature a display of more than 7,000 illuminated jack o’ lanterns. It’s a one-of-a-kind event that also features killer live music. 

The Armonk Outdoor Art Show

Held on September 28 & 29, the Armonk Outdoor Art Show brings together a stunning array of art in a beautiful outdoor setting. There’ll be a variety of beautiful art to browse, as well as food vendors, drink options, and even free children’s activities. It’s a fun, witchy activity ideally suited to the fall—enjoyable with or without greenery. It’s held at the Dutch Church at 430 North Broadway in Sleepy Hollow, NY. 

Tarrytown Music Hall – Ghost Tours of The Music Hall

The Ghost Tours of The Music Hall at Tarrytown Music Hall will take you through the building, built in 1885 during the “Millionaire’s Colony” era. Guided by Jonathan Kruk, you’ll get a deep dive into Music Hall – a reflection of the human spirit and the history of the many people who passed through (and some who didn’t leave…).
